Hiring Mercs from Logan’s Pub
Mercenaries, or “mercs,” are hired soldiers used mainly for offensive operations like PvP attacks, Boss Fights, and Rival Retaliations. You can recruit them from Logan’s Pub by spending products. Each type of merc has its own stats and space requirements, just like thugs. Logan’s Pub can accommodate and train up to 20 mercs at a time, making it an essential part of your battle preparation.
As you level up, additional merc types unlock, each suited for specific roles — some excel against turrets, others target storage buildings, and a few specialize in support like healing allies mid-battle. Managing your mercs is critical for winning fights and climbing the leaderboard.
Mercenary Types & Stats
Here are some of the key mercenaries available in the game:
Goon: A balanced fighter with melee attacks. Great in groups.
Hoodlum: A long-range sharpshooter who deals extra damage to defending thugs.
Firebird: Uses fire-based attacks to deal bonus damage to buildings. Effective in PvP.
Bazooka: High-damage merc who specializes in taking down defensive towers.
Raider: Targets storage units and deals multiplied damage. Ideal for loot-based raids.
Detonator: Best used for breaching walls. Has high splash damage.
Ironclad: A tank unit with slow speed but massive damage to turrets and walls.
Medic: Doesn’t deal much damage but heals your other mercs during battle.
Hawk: A powerful splash-damage unit with long-range attacks.
Each merc fills a tactical niche. Building custom attack squads with the right mix of units can be the difference between victory and defeat.
Training Costs & Times
Each mercenary has a product cost and training time associated with it. Basic units like Goons train quickly and cost only a few products, while advanced ones like Ironclad or Medic take longer and require significantly more products to unlock and deploy.
Before training, ensure your Merc Camp has enough available space to house them. If it’s full, you won’t be able to queue more units. Upgrading your Merc Camp is a good long-term investment to support a larger offensive army.
The deeper you go into PvP and boss content, the more you’ll need to carefully balance training times, camp capacity, and available products.
